End the day with a visit to Trashichhoedzong, a fortress that serves as the centre of government and religion.
After breakfast, drive to Paro and visit Ta Dzong, a watchtower that now houses Bhutan's National Museum. Walk down the hillside trail to visit Rinpung Dzong, an ancient fortress that houses the monastic body of Paro. Spend the night in Paro.
Embark on a day excursion to Chela La Pass, the highest motorable point in Bhutan, before driving back to Phuentsholing. Check-in at the hotel and spend the night.
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive back to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
