Day 1

Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra Airport / NJP Station and Transfer to Gangtok

Upon your arrival at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Station, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist you with the further journey. You'll receive all the relevant documents, including hotel vouchers and itinerary. You'll then depart towards Gangtok, which is around 135 km away and takes approximately 5 hours to reach. The journey will treat you to magnificent views of mountains, valleys, village life, forests, waterfalls, and tea gardens. After reaching Gangtok, we'll help you check into your hotel, and you can rest for the day. We suggest you sleep early to prepare for tomorrow's tour. You'll spend the night in Gangtok.

Day 2

Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

Wake up early and have a heavy breakfast by 7:30 am. After breakfast, you'll head for a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake, a high altitude alpine lake near the Indo-China border. The lake, which is around 1 km long and 15 m deep, is considered sacred by the locals. The pure, clear water remains frozen during winter. You can enjoy playing in the snow and a Yak ride. Next, you'll visit the legendary Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, known as the "Hero of Nathula," an Indian soldier who was awarded the MahaVir Chakra medal for his bravery and continued to do his duty even after death. Afterward, you'll return to your hotel, and the evening will be free for leisure. You'll spend the night in Gangtok.

Optional Tour to Nathula Pass: You can opt for an excursion to Nathula Pass (Indo-China border) at an extra cost. Please note that it's controlled by the Indian Army and remains closed on Monday and Tuesday for tourists. Permit for Nathula Pass requires a minimum of 72 hours, and we need proper documents, including 4 passport size photographs and photo proof identity card (Voter ID/Passport/Driving Licence). Aadhar Card/Pan Card is not accepted as ID proof by Sikkim tourism.

Day 3

Day 3: Half-Day Sightseeing in Gangtok and Transfer to Pelling

After breakfast, you'll go for half-day sightseeing in Gangtok, which includes Banjakhri Waterfalls, Government Institute of Cottage Industry (closed on Sunday and 2nd Saturday), Orchid House Flower Show, Sikkim Research Institute of Tibetology, and Do-Drul Chorten. Afterward, you'll proceed towards Pelling. Upon arrival, you'll check into your hotel, and the evening will be free for leisure. You'll spend the night in Pelling.

Pelling is known for its breathtaking view of the snow-capped mountains of Kanchenjunga and its ranges. Its rich history, natural environment, and local culture make it a popular destination for nature lovers.

Day 4

Day 4: Explore Pelling Natural Beauty

On the fourth day of your tour, you will continue to explore the natural beauty of Pelling. After breakfast, you will visit Darap Village and Valley, Rimbi Waterfalls, Rock Garden, Kanchendzonga Water Falls, and Khecheopalri Holy Lake. These are some of the popular tourist spots in Pelling, and you can spend time enjoying the serene beauty of the landscape.

Later, after lunch, you will visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Helipad View Point, Rabdentse Palace Ruins, and Bird Sanctuary. These places are known for their rich cultural heritage, and you can learn more about the history and traditions of the region.

In the evening, return to your hotel and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 5

Day 5: Transfer to Darjeeling

After breakfast at your hotel in Pelling, you will check-out and drive towards Darjeeling. The journey takes about 4-5 hours, and you can enjoy the scenic beauty of the tea gardens and hills along the way.

Upon arrival in Darjeeling, check-in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can explore the local markets and try some of the famous Darjeeling tea.

Day 6

Day 6: Sightseeing in Darjeeling

On day 6 of your tour, wake up early in the morning around 3:30 am and visit Tiger Hill sunrise point, which is located about 11 km from the city. Here, you can witness the majestic sunrise over the snow-capped Himalayan Mountains, including the iconic Mt. Kangchendzongha. On your way back to the hotel, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.

After breakfast, visit other famous tourist spots in Darjeeling, including the Darjeeling Zoo, Mountaineering Institute, Happy Valley Tea Estate, Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee center, Lebong Race Course, and Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. You can also explore the local area, witness the unique culture and traditions, and interact with the friendly locals.

Day 7

Day 7: Departure

On the final day of your tour, after breakfast, you will check-out from your hotel and proceed towards Bagdogra Airport or NJP Station for your onward journey with sweet memories of your trip to the radiant Himalayas.
